Genuine Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus licence
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook and Access
One-time purchase — no monthly subscription
Best fit for Windows 7, 8 and 10; Windows 11 not officially guaranteed by Microsoft
The lightest full Office lineup we sell
Short answer: Office 2010 Professional Plus at RebootDoctor is a genuine one-time-purchase Microsoft key for $5.09 — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook and Access. It's the oldest full Office lineup we carry, and it's best suited to Windows 7, 8 or 10. Microsoft ended support in 2020, well before Windows 11 existed, so we can't guarantee activation there — if you're on Windows 11, Office 2019 or newer is the safer buy.
Who Actually Asks for This
Not many people go looking for Office 2010 on purpose, but a specific group does: someone with an old machine that’s still running Windows 7, 8, or 10, who needs Word and Excel to keep working and doesn’t want to touch anything else about the setup. If that’s you, this is a genuine, cheap, working key for exactly that job.
We’re not going to dress this up as a modern recommendation. It’s the oldest thing we sell, and we’re selling it because there’s still real demand for it, not because we think it’s the best option for most people.
The Windows 11 Situation, Plainly
Office 2010’s support ended in October 2020 — a full year before Windows 11 shipped. Microsoft never tested that combination and doesn’t guarantee it activates. We’ve seen it work. We’ve also seen it not work. There’s no way to promise you which one you’ll get, so we’re not going to. If your machine is on Windows 11 and you need something that’s guaranteed to activate, message us and we’ll point you to Office 2019 instead — same price bracket, none of the uncertainty.
Genuine Key, Not a Trial
This is a real Microsoft product key, not a shared login or a cracked activator. It activates directly against Microsoft’s own systems where the underlying Windows version supports it, and once activated it stays active for the life of that install.
Tell us what Windows version your machine is running before you buy — we'll tell you straight whether 2010 will activate or whether you should get something newer.
For a lot of people, yes — but not everyone. If you're running an old machine that's already on Windows 7, 8 or 10 and you just need Word and Excel for basic documents, Office 2010 still does that job, and it's one of the cheapest genuine full-suite keys we carry. It's not the right pick if you want anything modern or if you're specifically trying to run it on Windows 11.
Will Office 2010 activate on Windows 11?
▼
We're not going to promise it will. Microsoft ended support for Office 2010 back in October 2020, well before Windows 11 existed, and there's no official guarantee it activates there at all. Some people get it working, but it's genuinely unreliable case by case. If you're on Windows 11, we'd steer you to Office 2019 or newer instead — this key is best suited to Windows 7, 8, or 10 machines.
Is this a real Microsoft key or a trial?
▼
A real one. It's a genuine Office 2010 Professional Plus product key. You get it by email within minutes with activation notes, including the honest Windows 11 caveat above so you know what you're buying.
Do I have to pay every year?
▼
No. This is a one-time purchase — no monthly or yearly fee. You buy the key once and it stays with that installation for as long as the machine runs it.
Why does RebootDoctor even sell something this old?
▼
Because we still get asked for it. Older laptops, offline machines, people replacing a licence on a PC that's already running 2010 and don't want to relearn a newer interface — it's a small but real slice of what people come to us for. We'd rather sell it honestly, caveat included, than pretend it's a universal fit.
