  • Mac model check — Intel vs Apple Silicon, best method chosen
  • Windows ISO download (correct edition + language)
  • Boot Camp partition + native dual-boot setup (Intel Macs)
  • VM setup: VMware Fusion / UTM (Apple Silicon M1-M4)
  • Driver installation — WiFi, trackpad, camera, keyboard
  • Boot verification: both macOS and Windows confirmed working

Short answer: Remote Windows on Mac installation at RebootDoctor: $4.99 flat rate, 30-45 minutes, done remotely while you watch. Intel Macs get native Boot Camp dual-boot. Apple Silicon Macs (M1/M2/M3/M4) get Windows ARM via free VM (VMware Fusion or UTM). Includes correct Windows ISO download, partitioning, driver setup, and boot verification. Windows license key sold separately ($9.90) or bring your own. No fix, no fee.

Why Would You Even Need Windows on a Mac?

You bought a Mac and it’s great — until you need that one Windows-only app. QuickBooks for your accountant. SolidWorks for engineering. That old ERP system your company runs. Or games that just don’t have Mac ports.

You could buy a separate PC. Or you could spend $4.99 and have Windows running on the Mac you already own in under an hour.

This is one of those things where the information online is technically free — Boot Camp Assistant is built in, VMware Fusion is free, ISOs are downloadable. But getting from “I have a Mac” to “I’m booted into Windows with working WiFi, trackpad, and drivers” has about 14 steps where things can go wrong. We’ve done it hundreds of times. You shouldn’t have to figure it out.

Typical time: 30–45 minutes. Price: $4.99. No fix, no fee.

What’s Included

Mac Assessment. First we check which Mac you have — Intel or Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4). This determines everything. Intel gets native Boot Camp. M-series gets Windows ARM in a virtual machine. We don’t try to sell you the wrong setup.

Windows ISO Download. We grab the correct Windows version (10 or 11, Home or Pro) in the right language. No sketchy third-party ISOs — direct from Microsoft. If you’re on Apple Silicon, we get the ARM64 build that most people don’t even know exists.

Boot Camp Setup (Intel Macs). We partition your drive through Boot Camp Assistant, handle the Windows installer, fix the EFI boot order so both systems show up in the startup picker, and install the full Boot Camp driver package — WiFi, trackpad, keyboard backlight, function keys, camera, audio, everything.

VM Setup (Apple Silicon M1-M4). Since Boot Camp doesn’t exist on M-series chips, we set you up with VMware Fusion (free for personal use) or UTM (also free, open source). Windows ARM runs inside macOS — no rebooting, copy-paste between OSes, drag-and-drop files. We configure the VM with the right amount of RAM and CPU cores so both macOS and Windows stay responsive.

Driver Verification. Intel or M-series, we check every driver — graphics, network, audio, trackpad gestures, keyboard special keys. Nothing left with a yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager.

Boot Test. We reboot (Intel) or launch the VM (M-series) and verify Windows boots clean, WiFi connects, and keyboard/trackpad work before we call it done.

What’s NOT Included

  • Windows license key. You can bring your own, or buy one from our store ($9.90). Windows works unactivated too — you just get a watermark and can’t change the wallpaper.
  • Parallels Desktop license (~$99/yr). We use free alternatives (VMware Fusion or UTM). If you specifically want Parallels, we can install it — but you buy the license.
  • macOS repair or reinstallation. This service is Windows-only on your existing macOS setup.
  • Data migration from an old PC. Available separately — ask on WhatsApp.

Not sure if your Mac can run Windows? Send us your Mac model (Apple menu → About This Mac) and which Windows app you need. We'll confirm compatibility in under a minute and tell you whether Boot Camp or VM is the right call.

How It Works

  1. You message us on WhatsApp — tell us your Mac model and which Windows apps you need
  2. We confirm the best method — Boot Camp (Intel) or VM (M1-M4), and whether your apps will run
  3. We connect securely — one-time encrypted remote session via AnyDesk, you watch the whole thing
  4. We do the install — 30-45 minutes, including ISO download, setup, drivers, and boot test
  5. You verify — boot into Windows (or launch the VM), open your app, confirm it works
  6. You pay only if satisfied

FAQ

Intel Mac or M1/M2/M3/M4 — what’s the difference for Windows?

Intel Macs can run Windows natively through Boot Camp — full performance, no virtualization overhead, Windows thinks it’s on a real PC. M-series Macs can’t do Boot Camp (Apple removed it). Instead, Windows runs in a virtual machine using the ARM version of Windows. For most business apps (Office, QuickBooks, older ERP tools), the VM works fine. For gaming or GPU-heavy work on M-series, a cloud desktop or separate PC is better.

I tried Boot Camp myself and it failed at partitioning — can you still help?

Almost always yes. Failed Boot Camp installs usually leave a partition fragment that blocks the next attempt. We clean up the leftover partition, run First Aid on your APFS container, and restart from scratch. Don’t keep trying — each failed attempt makes the next one harder.

Will this slow down my Mac?

If you’re on Intel with Boot Camp: no. Windows and macOS run completely independently — you boot into one or the other, no shared resources. On M-series with a VM: Windows uses the RAM and CPU you assign it (we’re conservative — typically 4GB RAM and 2-4 cores). Close the VM and macOS gets everything back.

Do I really need to pay for Windows?

No. You can download and use Windows 10/11 without activating it. The only downsides are a small “Activate Windows” watermark in the bottom-right corner and locked personalization settings (wallpaper, colors). All apps and functionality work normally. If the watermark bothers you, we sell activation keys for $9.90.
