Why Would You Even Need Windows on a Mac?

You bought a Mac and it’s great — until you need that one Windows-only app. You could buy a separate PC, or run Windows on the Mac you already own. The tools are free — Boot Camp Assistant is built into Intel Macs, and VMware Fusion and UTM cost nothing for personal use — but getting from “I have a Mac” to “Windows is running with working WiFi, trackpad and drivers” has plenty of steps where things go wrong. That’s the part we do.

Intel Mac vs Apple Silicon: Two Different Setups

Which Mac you have decides everything:

What’s Included

Mac Assessment. First we check which Mac you have — Intel or Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4). Intel gets native Boot Camp. M-series gets Windows for ARM in a virtual machine. We don’t set you up with the wrong method.

Windows Download. We get the correct Windows version and language directly from Microsoft — no third-party ISOs. On Apple Silicon that means the ARM64 build.

Boot Camp Setup (Intel Macs). We partition your drive through Boot Camp Assistant, handle the Windows installer, make sure both systems show up in the startup picker, and install the Boot Camp driver package — WiFi, trackpad, keyboard backlight, function keys, camera, audio.

VM Setup (Apple Silicon M1-M4). Since Boot Camp doesn’t exist on M-series chips, we set you up with VMware Fusion (free for personal use) or UTM (free, open source). We give the VM a sensible amount of RAM and CPU cores so both macOS and Windows stay responsive.

Driver Verification. Intel or M-series, we check graphics, network, audio, trackpad and keyboard keys. Nothing left with a yellow warning in Device Manager.

Boot Test. We reboot (Intel) or launch the VM (M-series) and verify Windows boots clean, WiFi connects, and keyboard and trackpad work before we call it done.

What’s NOT Included

• Windows license key. You can bring your own, or buy one from our store ($9.90). Windows works unactivated too — you just get a watermark and can’t change personalization settings.
• Parallels Desktop license. We use free alternatives (VMware Fusion or UTM). If you specifically want Parallels, we can install it — but you buy the license.
• macOS repair or reinstallation. This service is Windows-only on your existing macOS setup.
• Data migration from an old PC. Available separately — ask on WhatsApp.

How It Works

1. You message us on WhatsApp — tell us your Mac model and which Windows apps you need
2. We confirm the best method — Boot Camp (Intel) or VM (M1-M4), and whether your apps will run
3. We connect securely — one-time encrypted remote session via AnyDesk, you watch the whole thing
4. We do the install — 30-45 minutes, including download, setup, drivers, and boot test
5. You verify — boot into Windows (or launch the VM), open your app, confirm it works
6. No fix, no charge — if we can’t get it working, you don’t pay, and if you paid in advance, you get a full refund

FAQ

Intel Mac or M1/M2/M3/M4 — what’s the difference for Windows?

Intel Macs can run Windows natively through Boot Camp — full performance, no virtualization overhead. Apple Silicon Macs can’t use Boot Camp at all. Instead, Windows for ARM runs in a virtual machine. For most business apps (Office, accounting software, older in-house tools) the VM works fine. For gaming or GPU-heavy work on M-series, a separate PC or cloud desktop is usually better.

I tried Boot Camp myself and it failed at partitioning — can you still help?

Usually, yes. Failed Boot Camp installs often leave a partition behind that blocks the next attempt. We clean up the leftover partition, run First Aid on your APFS container, and start again properly. Don’t keep retrying — each failed attempt can make cleanup harder.

Will this slow down my Mac?

With Boot Camp on Intel: no. Windows and macOS run separately — you boot into one or the other. With a VM on M-series, Windows uses the RAM and CPU you assign while it’s running (we’re conservative — typically 4 GB RAM and 2-4 cores). Close the VM and macOS gets everything back.

Do I really need to pay for Windows?

Not to try it. You can install and use Windows 10/11 without activating it. The downsides are an “Activate Windows” watermark and locked personalization settings (wallpaper, colors). If you want to activate it, we sell keys for $9.90.
